Project description

  • Upgrade of the existing electrical cabinet (with relocation)
  • Safety PLC (Complete system must fulfill safety level PLd )
  • Upgrade of existing HMI
  • Complete pull-wire system (approximately 6 new wires to be considered)
  • Connection and signal exchange to equipment in the JEET line (18 control systems)
  • Connection and signal exchange between E-stop cabinet and SCADA
  • Install safe air exhausts (together with clean air filters) for releasing pressure in the system (1x pack area, 1x process area, 1x molding

Project Insights

  • This was made possible by preparing the connections in advance.
  • For this, RAP Tronic Process Engineering sent a team a few weeks before the installation, and the moment of making the connections was chosen during one of the maintenance breaks of the existing line.
  • Thus, in a record time, the existing line could be integrated into the new E-Stop system.
