RAP TRONIC PROCESS ENGINEERING delivered a complete process engineering and utility integration solution for one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in Europe. The main goal of the project was to support the operation of one of the highest-capacity chocolate moulding lines in Europe by implementing all required technological and utility systems.

Project description

Scope of Work:

  • Design, execution and installation of 3 high-capacity horizontal chocolate melters, including fully automated raw material feeding systems
  • Design and installation of the main chocolate supply pipeline to the moulding line
  • Integration of 3 chocolate tempering units and pigging systems to optimize flow and minimize product loss
  • Implementation of over 12 closed-loop systems for temperature control (heating and cooling), ensuring maximum energy efficiency
  • Full integration of the production line into the plant’s automated data monitoring and collection system

 

Outcome:

The project was successfully completed, enabling the client to operate a high-capacity chocolate production line with minimal rework, energy-efficient processes, and full integration into their smart factory infrastructure.
