Project description

Successfully completed project in the food industry, fully delivered by the RAP Tronic Process Engineering Team: the team covered all phases, from concept and design to installation and commissioning.

What did the team deliver?

A complete system for handling crushed biscuits, unloading from bags, sieving, de-dusting, pneumatic transport, and automatic dosing directly into the client’s mixer. The team handled development, mechanical and electrical design, piping, on-site installation, and process automation – all tailored to integrate seamlessly into a stringent food production line with high hygiene and precision standards. An important factor in the on-time delivery of the project was the support from the RAP STEEL team, who manufactured the dosing hopper and several essential accessories – all delivered promptly.
A complete project, tailored to real production needs, where the RAP Tronic Process Engineering Team combined technical expertise with practical execution in a true turnkey solution.

Challenges on the jobsite – Challenges of #TeamRAP

  • Handling the delicate properties of the material (crushed biscuits), which is brittle and generates dust – a challenge both for pneumatic transport and for precise dosing.
  • Ensuring a hygienic, contamination-free process, in line with the strict requirements of the food industry.
  • Integrating a complete solution (unloading, sieving, de-dusting, pneumatic transport, dosing) within a limited space and into an existing technological flow.

 

”This project was, first and foremost, about the team.
We faced real challenges regarding the delivery timelines for certain equipment, which meant we had to adjust some of the solutions along the way. The team responded quickly, with concrete and effective answers. Our colleague, Cristi Nicoară, was a key support on-site as well as throughout the entire project, and the close collaboration between all parties involved truly made the difference.
It required quick adaptation, constant communication, and a high level of commitment.
